Arrow to use Lantronix's PremierWave XC HSPA+ for New IoT Framework
IRVINE, CA: Lantronix, a specialized networking company providing smart IoT and M2M connectivity solutions, announces launch of PremierWave XC HSPA+ 3.5G solution. The solution will be an intelligent IoT gateway and will be utilized in Arrow Electronics’, recently-announced "Arrow Intelligent Services Framework" offering.
The latest launch aims at enabling enterprises, developers, and suppliers to build, deploy, and manage connected devices and intelligent systems, quickly and efficiently. A common set of API-based services to normalize set-up, configuration and management of participating vendor gateway products will be leveraged through the new platform.

The launch will be part of the first phase of the offerings, through which Lantronix will enable remote access and management of virtually any serial equipment. This will be made possible through the use of the market-leading Lantronix(R) device server application suite and optional custom programming environment.

Designed for applications in a variety of vertical markets the PremierWave XC Product Family caters to markets’ like telematics, industrial automation, healthcare, energy, and utilities. Additionally, the PremierWave XC HSPA+ Intelligent Gateway provides Ethernet-to-cellular routing enabling network access to multiple devices. Furthermore, as the PremierWave XC family relies on cellular network for failover backup, ensuring redundancy. This makes it ideal for applications deployed in areas that do not have an Ethernet or Wi-Fi infrastructure, or for installations that have such connectivity.
